Vision of Inertia II - I'm Not The Only One Seeing Elevens

A few days ago I wrote a post about how I've seen elevens for some time titled "Vision of Inertia - I'm Seeing Elevens." By some time I mean around a decade or so!  Despite my life in front of a PC, I didn't think once to search for what it could mean.  When I finally did, I wasn't sure how to search for it.  In light of some of the 2012 things I've come to realize in combining religious prophecy, science and some very basic logic I was a bit surprised that my coincidences in seeing elevens had nothing to do with any of it.  And so I wrote my post.

Since it's been a few days, I wanted to see how Google ranked the page and if it's been indexed properly.  Naturally, I searched using a couple of the key words in what I thought was a very creative title:  "seeing elevens."  I have a Firefox plug that auto-completes my Google searches making things easier to find.  Low and behold, as I'm typing "seeing ele....." it auto-completes my inquiry.  The plug-in only does so with common search strings.  In other words, it was common enough to find it and suggest it as an auto-complete option.  I'm repeating myself, I know, but believe me it's because I was simply freaked out.

Here's something I thought was odd, something I thought I was the only one experiencing, something that my wife and I have joked about for years ("look, it's hh:11," I would say) and above all something I wasn't sure how to search for .... all of a sudden this something is right there.  Available.  And has happened to others enough to make it a common search string.  I digress.

There are a lot of weird theories out there.  They range from symbolic meanings (highlight the entire page since the background image is missing to see the text), to an almost cult in the nineties, to the concept of synchronicity, to numerology, to even have it all labeled as a "phenomenon."  There are books on the topic. Uri Geller's is even mentioned on Wikipedia's 11:11 page.

Unfortunately, most of them talk about the specific occurrance / sighting of 11:11, whether at day or night.  That's not exactly what I'm experiencing.  As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm seeing hh:11  —It's the eleventh minute of the hour.  And as I had mentioned in that post, I found it odd that there was no correlation between the elevens I was seeing and what might happen towards the end of 2012.  It just felt like it would.  Boy, was I in for a surprise?!

The Solstice I mentioned in that post is calculated to occur on December 21, 2012.  What I didn't know was that it's calculated to happen at 11:11 Universal Time (UT)!  Odd? Umm, yeah.  Just a little.

Bruce Fenton of 2012 Rising put it quite nicely when he said:
An important element of the [December 12, 2012] subject is the contemplation of Solar dynamics and Solar behaviour. I am no Heliophysicist or particle physicist so will rarely brave explaining any magnetospheric dynamics in relation to 2012. Even respected ‘experts’ on the science behind the workings of our nearest star admit that they do not have complete models. New understandings are constantly being reached in this area of astrophysics.
He later also says:
The reason why the Sun becomes important in the 11:11 subject is not simply the solstice point in our calendar. It also happens to be that the sun’s magnetic field operates a cycle of polarity reversals averaging 11.11 years in length. The next peak of this cycle happens to be in the year 2012 and has been predicted by some astrophysicists to likely be a very active maximum. Some posit possibly the most active since the end of the last ice-age.

Now this post is more like a continuation of "Vision of Inertia - I'm Seeing Elevens" as it is also of "Islam, Science, The 2012 Predictions & The Beginning of The End."  I urge you to read at least the latter for what I'm about to say to make sense.

As freaky as all these things I've recently learned are and/or may sound, I can't help but look at it all this with my faith as the lens.  Through that lens, when I see the number 11 I immediately think "Ahadun Ahad."  It's an Arabic phrase that roughly means "The One The Only."  It's a reminder of the Oneness of God.  It's almost like a warning to come back to God, or even a "heads up" that God is about to make true on something He said.  I'm not sure I can describe that feeling any further.  I simply refute the idea of the most common 11:11 phenomenon, as described to be angels expressing themselves some how or another via humans.  Instead, I acknowledge that it might be a warning, a call for attention or even a sign.

Again, if you're confused where this all is coming from, I urge you to read this first.

As I had mentioned in the aforementioned post links, the Earth is likely to be hit by a massive solar event such as the November 2003 monster X-ray flare that erupted from the Sun. This was the most powerful solar flare ever recorded at X-28. It blinded the NOAA GOES satellite for 11 minutes.  Or like Quebec, Canada losing power in 1989.

Look.  I know there are a lot of theories out there.  As a man of faith, however, I truly see all these signs leading up to a global electrical power damage, and ultimately causing an outage that will last for months if not years.  And the cause will likely come from the sun.  There are solar flares, CMEs, solar radiation storms, Geomagnetic storms, etc.

A very good post can be found here on how likely my theory is.  Needless to say, the more I read about solar storms of any kind, the more I believe that what I deduce to happen towards the end of 2012 to be closer to reality than I myself would like to believe.

And the one post that describes the exact thing that goes through my mind, and put so nicely in writing, can be found here, but originally published here.  This site is simply the epitome of what I feel in my gut to likely happen if not around December of 2012, then very near to it.  And if you're interested in additional material, see this book (readable directly via the link).

Randolph E. Schmid from Associated Press reported as recently as a few days ago (on May 8th, 2009) that:

A report by the National Academy of Sciences found that if a storm as severe as one in 1859 occurred today, it could cause $1 trillion to $2 trillion in damage the first year and take four to 10 years to recover.

The 1859 storm shorted out telegraph wires, causing fires in North America and Europe, sent readings of Earth's magnetic field soaring, and produced northern lights so bright that people read newspapers by their light.

Today there's a lot more than telegraph lines at stake. Vulnerable electrical grids circle the globe, satellites now vital for all forms of communications can be severely disrupted along with the global positioning system. Indeed, the panel warned that a strong blast of solar wind can threaten national security, transportation, financial services and other essential functions.

The solar prediction center works closely with industry and government agencies to make sure they are prepared with changes in activity and prepared to respond when damage occurs, Biesecker said in a briefing.

While the most extreme events seem unlikely this time, there will probably be smaller scale disruptions to electrical service, airline flights, GPS signals and television, radio and cell phones.

I really would like to stop saying that the likely cause is solar flares.  The scientific fact is that people sometimes confuse CMEs with solar flares, but they are different phenomena.

Bursts of matter from the sun, called coronal mass ejections (CMEs), have long been known to affect cell phone reception, TV and radio signals, and how much radiation exposure we receive while flying in the upper atmosphere. Now, researchers have detected plumes that tell them where the radiation form the ejection is concentrated and what places will be influenced the most by the CME.

Solar flares are explosions on the sun that occur when energy build up around sunspots, becoming so hot — millions of degrees Fahrenheit — that they produce a burst of electromagnetic radiation across the entire electromagnetic spectrum, from radio waves to x-rays and gamma rays. CMEs were once thought to be the result of solar flares, but while they sometimes accompany solar flares, there is no direct relation between the two. They occur when a large bubble of plasma escapes through a star's corona and travels through space to the earth at high speeds over the course of several hours. If a CME collides with the earth, it can produce a geomagnetic storm, which can cause electrical power outages and damage communications satellites and electronic equipment. Solar flares, on the other hand, affect radio communications.

For more information on solar storms visit this YouTube link (a ~4 minute video from National Geographic).
